I had a large dreamsicle stuffed snowball with condensed milk (yes, oink oink) Jeff had a large cherry stuffed snowball and our total was only $6. Not bad for two sweet treats. My first sip I get juice! Ah! The sign of a good snowball! The ice is pretty smooth and the flavor is good. The wait was less than 5 minutes and they have covered seating and they DO take credit cards. 5 stars! Yum, fast and relatively close to my house.

Dary dip is my favorite lunch spot in Belle Chasse. It is a small outdoor snowball stand with some fried food and alot of sandwhich options. All seating is outside on picnic tables, but the area is covered. I love the fried shrimp plate. It is affordable and the shrimp are fresh. Just a note, the shrimp are poboy size . I also love their hot dogs. The bun is always fresh. There is nothing special about the chili but its good. Burgers are also delicious and way better than the commercial fast food restauraunts. The fries are my least favorite item I've tried. I think they would be great covered in cheese and chili but as a stand alone, they are just okay. The snowballs are a great addition to any lunch!

Super friendly girl who took my order, first plus right there! I ordered the dipped waffle cone, which was essentially vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate which then hardens. It was DELISH and the perfect treat for a summer night after dinner at Salvo's seafood restaurant, which is just a couple minutes down the road.

Best dipped cone of all the times. Dairy Queen's got nothing on this soft serve. I hear the other stuff is good too, but why have a burger for lunch when you can have three dipped cones?

This place has been around since the 50's and you can have a flashback to the olden days here. The burgers are decent but certainly not great and fries come out hot but with salt on the side. The po boys here are alright and probably better than the burger. The real attraction here is the soft-serve ice cream and the desserts made with it. They also offer snowballs here year round. On my last visit they were out of Coke... c'mon you can't have a full flashback without any Coke!

Belle Chasse Dairy Dip is one of those hole in the wall delicacies that is among the best of the best. I have had the hamburgers there and have found them to be excellent; however, I have not eaten one recently, so they may have changed. On the other hand, the frozen treats can't get any better than at Dairy Dip. I personally recommend the dip chocolate shakes, but there are a myriad of flavors that you can choose. They also have snowballs, malts, ice cream cones, among other flavors. It's almost worth, if you don't live in Belle Chasse but are in the Greater New Orleans area, the drive to visit, depending on if you want to battle Jefferson Parish traffic and pay relevant tolls.

We decided to take a drive to the southern most point in LA. On the way you may encounter the dairy dip. All I can say is the po-boys and milkshakes are amazing. I got the dairy dip special po-boy and my fiancée got the roast beef. They were both so good neither of us even wanted to try the other one. Thanks dairy dip you made our Sunday!

The Po-boys are worthy of getting, but do not get a hamburger. The hamburger bun isn't toasted and the beef patty is pre-made, which doesn't create a nice texture.

BEST DIPPED CONE EVER! It's cheap and good, what else can you ask for? Belle Chase has recently gain a couple more dessert spots but nothing beats the walk-up Dairy Dip. I would rather spend my money and drive a little farther down the road to come here than go to Frutti Twisted or Maggie Moo's. The only down side to Dairy Dip is that close fairly early, either way I still love their dipped cones and I promise you will too!
